Timing

When to tan before your wedding

When should I get my spray tan before the wedding?

For the most beautiful, natural-looking glow, I recommend booking your spray tan two days before your wedding. This allows time for your tan to develop, be rinsed and settle into a soft, even finish before your big day.

If your schedule is tight, the day before can also work beautifully. Three days before is another option, depending on your skin and wedding plans.

The most important thing is choosing a time that allows you to feel relaxed, confident and ready to glow.

Can I have my tan on the wedding morning?

I don't recommend it. Tanning two days before (or the day before) means you can relax on the morning itself, with nothing to think about but getting ready.

I'm coming from out of town — when do we talk through everything?

Most of my brides travel to Queenstown and Wānaka for their wedding, so we go through shade, timing, your dress and your photographs together when we meet.

Where does the tan happen?

I come to you — your villa, hotel room or lodge across Queenstown, Wānaka and surrounding areas.
